Job Description

Qualification:

BE/ BSc in Civil engineering preferably a higher degree from a recognized university.

Work Experience/Competences:

  •  Minimum 15 years’ post qualification experience on donor funded projects.
  • Ten years’ experience in similar organizations including five years’ experience in Project Management.
  • Knowledge of World Bank procedures will be an added advantage.
  • Should be a member of the PEC.

Maximum age limit is 50 Years.

Job Responsibilities

  •  Thorough knowledge of concepts and practices related to local governments and their municipal infrastructure, construction, and operation & maintenance framework and functioning in relation to her/ his discipline.
  • Knowledge of human and institutional development.
  • Knowledge of organizational structure designing.
  • Knowledge of and excellence in communication.
  • Ability to translate concepts into actions.
  • Ability to write brief but comprehensive reports.
  • Ability to develop plans.
  • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to motivate team as a high performing team.
  • Ability to take rational but quick decisions.
  • Must have ability to listen to and learn from clients and colleagues.
  • Should have high self-esteem and internal locus of control.
  • Must be outgoing, agreeable, conscientious, and emotionally stable and be open to experience and learning.
  • Should have good verbal, numerical, and spatial abilities and inductive reasoning.
